It's that fun holiday time of year, and for many this is a joyous season of giving and receiving and being together with family. The only thing that some of us dread is once again scouring the malls and shops trying to find a good gift for THAT member of the family. You know who I'm talking about: the person who is almost impossible to buy for! Whether it's your spouse, one of your parents or a sibling, we all have at least one person who's hard to buy for, but fear not! Here are a couple of gift ideas for you:
1. Designer sunglasses. This is a gift that not everyone would think of, but it's very useful! Most of us could use a better pair of sunglasses, and they protect our eyesight, so it's not only a thoughtful gift, but a very useful one. Sunglasses can be a very personal purchase however, so make sure to choose a shape that you think will look great on your Dad or sister, and get a gift receipt should you need to exchange them for smaller or larger pair just in case. Your family member will love the thought though, and women's or mens sunglasses are something they would never to think to ask for but will probably need and want.
2. One-up something they have. This may sound a little strange, but say your parents have been using the same coffee pot for 10 years and love it, but you know it's on its last leg. So take what they like about their old coffee pot, and find another one that has those features and maybe some nice new ones. You can take something that they use everyday, and get a bigger and better model for them. They wouldn't have thought to ask for it, but you know they'll love it because it's something they need to replace soon, and they'll actually use it everyday. It's a thoughtful gift, and much better than the dust collecting knick knack you could have gone with!
